A breast lift is a plastic surgery procedure that corrects saggy breasts and all degrees of breast ptosis. It can easily be paired with a breast augmentation for optimal breast enhancement. Depending upon the amount of breast sagging and incision preferences, there are many types of breast lift methods. Dr. Jonov at Seattle Plastic Surgery performs all breast lift techniques in Seattle.
Anchor: The anchor technique is one of the standard breast lift incisions. It encircles the areola, extends down the breast and through the inframammary fold. This is the most extensive incision, but it allows for the largest amount of removal and often provides the best result.
Lollipop: Like the anchor technique, the lollipop breast lift encircles the areola and extends down the breast. However, it does not typically extend through the inframammary fold. This allows for a moderate amount of skin and tissue removal and can serve many breast lift patients well.
Doughnut: A doughnut breast lift only encircles the areola. This is the least invasive option, however, it only allows Dr. Jonov to remove a limited amount of skin and tissue. This technique is best for patients who only need a small or moderate amount of lift.
