Semaglutide injections are a sustainable solution for weight loss and management. The once-weekly weight loss injection requires a prescription from a medical provider. However, semaglutide injections are self-administered at home, and thus, this opens up the opportunity for patients to get semaglutide online in Seattle.

Seattle Plastic Surgery’s providers work with patients—in the office and online—to prescribe and manage their semaglutide weight loss shots. They achieve this by offering compounded semaglutide in Seattle.

Why Semaglutide Injection Shots & Benefits

Semaglutide shots interact with your metabolic hormones—mimicking them and tricking the body into believing the body is full. Besides reducing how much is eaten during meals, semaglutide helps reduce overall appetite and slow digestion. Unlike traditional weight loss methods, semaglutide may help patients with health conditions that are due to or contributing to their weight, lose weight.

In some patients, semaglutide and the resulting weight loss can help improve general cardiac health. They may reduce the severity of certain medical concerns, such as high blood pressure and diabetes, and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Do I need a prescription for semaglutide?

Yes, semaglutide is a prescription. Patients cannot buy semaglutide online safely. Only one initial appointment—which can be completed virtually if desired—is necessary for a patient to be evaluated for candidacy and provided a prescription if they qualify for semaglutide weight loss shots.

Semaglutide Subscription/ Packages – Seattle Plastic Surgery

Our semaglutide weight loss package is a monthly subscription. The cost of the subscription depends on the form of semaglutide you choose: the injections or the tablet. The tablet is taken daily instead of the once-weekly injection.

  • Semaglutide Shots: $575 per month
  • Semaglutide Tablets: $700 per month

These costs include a check-in appointment once a month, the medication and all necessary supplies, and home delivery. Patients will also receive an initial diet and exercise plan that our providers believe complements semaglutide treatment.

Other GLP-1 medications are available such as Tirzepatide, but semaglutide is generally our first choice for most patients. You can discuss your options and which you qualify for at your consultation.

Get Prescribed Online Semaglutide in 4 Easy Step Process:

Getting prescribed semaglutide for weight loss in Seattle is easier and simpler than most think, as long as you meet the qualifications. Most can get their semaglutide prescription in four steps.

Step One: Schedule a consultation with a provider at Seattle Plastic Surgery.

Seattle Plastic Surgery has several providers who see weight loss patients. In-office and virtual appointments are available. This allows us to see patients from all around Washington State.

Step Two: Attend your consultation.

At a consultation patient, your provider will want to understand your history of weight gain and loss. They will also evaluate your medical history to ensure you could benefit from semaglutide treatment and that it is safe for you.

Step Three: Get your prescription.

If your provider determines you are a good candidate for semaglutide weight loss shots, they will provide a prescription. They will also discuss how to inject the medication, diet, and exercise.

Step Four: Wait for your delivery.

Your first month’s supply of semaglutide should arrive within a few weeks. Patients can administer the first dose immediately.

Steps to Administer Semaglutide Weekly Medication

Semaglutide injections are given in one of three places: the stomach, outer thigh, or upper arm. Other sites may be utilized in special circumstances. Generally, our providers prefer patients to stick to these three areas and inject most often in the stomach. The medication needs to reach the fatty tissue just below the skin, which requires only a small needle.

After disinfecting the injection site, patients should pinch it to isolate the area and make it easier to perform the injections. The final steps are to place the needle just below the skin and press down the plunger. Make sure all of the medication has been injected, and pull the needle out.  Typically, you will be instructed to administer the medication with specific instructions. This is not medical advice and you shouldlways follow the instructions given by your provider.

Diet & Exercise Recommendations When on Semaglutide

Seattle Plastic Surgery’s providers will give patients a diet and exercise plan that complements semaglutide injections. While some variations may be made to fit dietary restrictions and allergies, patients should adhere to a high protein diet with good amounts of fruits and vegetables. Patients should reduce their consumption of processed food, sugary foods, and fried foods.

As far as exercise is concerned, upping activity levels in general will usually promote better results for patients taking semaglutide. Strength training helps burn fat and burn muscle. This can help improve metabolism, especially in combination with semaglutide.

How much On Average Patients Lose (As per Study)

Studies have shown that patients taking semaglutide lost an average of 14.9% of their baseline weight after 68 weeks, or about 35 pounds. This, of course, will vary based on the patient’s starting weight and goals for treatment.

What is the prescribed Dosage & Frequency of Semaglutide Shots

The first month’s dose will start at 0.25 milligrams weekly. The typical dosing schedule calls for an increase in dosage every four weeks until reaching the maintenance dose of 2.4 mg. The shots are administered weekly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get Semaglutide over the counter

No, semaglutide is a prescription-only medication.

How much weight can you lose on semaglutide in 3 months?

This will depend on the patient’s response to the medication and how well they adhere to the treatment protocol. In general, it is reasonable to lose about five to ten pounds in three months. However, some patients may lose significantly less.

When should you not take semaglutide?

If you are currently taking a different GLP-1 medication to manage a medical condition, semaglutide cannot also be taken. Certain risk factors associated with the thyroid and kidney are present. While these are rare, they must be screened for.
