This African American female underwent breast augmentation surgery with Seattle cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Craig Jonov. 350 CCs of silicone made a nice, yet subtle improvement in size, taking her from a B-cup to a D-cup. This new size works great with her frame. For this particular patient, Dr. Jonov chose to perform a periareolar incision. This places the incision around the natural line of the areola, which hides any visible scarring. Using a submammary placement, the implant resides just under the breast tissue, on top of the muscle.
